What does Roe's fall mean for Delaware?

Join us as we make abortion unthinkable in our state, one heart at a time.

Our job after roe

We are on mission to confront the insatiable appetite for abortion in Delaware.

The 2022 Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court case that claimed a Constitutional right to abortion.

While this is good news, it was only the beginning. The unborn are still not considered “persons,” which is how our state and federal governments have justified their murder.

If the government can decide “personhood” for one group of people, it can decide for any group.

It is up to each of us to continue to change hearts and minds, to recognize, affirm, and live by the fact that all people are created equal, endowed by their Creator with the right to life.

Long Version

In January of 1973, the Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade claimed a Constitutional right to abortion.

The decision in Roe v. Wade held to the view that not all human beings are “persons” — meaning, not all human beings possess “inalienable rights”, including the right to life.

This was how our government justified the brutal murder of 60 million preborn babies.

If the government can decide “personhood” for one group of people, it can decide for any group.

...the word "person," as used in the Fourteenth Amendment, does not include the unborn.

Roe v. Wade, January 22, 1973

In contrast, the concept of human rights are rooted in the understanding that people are created in God’s Image and have inherent and unalterable dignity and worth (Gen. 1:26-27, Psalm 139:13-14, James 3:9-10).

On June 24, 2022, Dobbs v. Jackson overturned Roe v. Wade, freeing the states to argue for the legal protection of the unborn’s right to life. This, however, was only the beginning.

"Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives."

Dobbs v, Jackson, June 24, 2022

It is up to each of us to continue to change hearts and minds, to recognize, affirm, and live by the fact that all people are created equal, endowed by their Creator with the right to life.

There is an abortion clinic in every Delaware county; abortions are also regularly performed in DE hospitals. Parental consent is not required in the state of Delaware.

Dangerous DIY chemical abortions make up the majority of abortions in Delaware. HB 320 was passed in April of 2022, allowing APRNs and physician assistants to prescribe these dangerous abortion pills. Because of the Federal relaxing of protocols, women can take these abortion pills with no medical oversight.

In Delaware, babies can be legally aborted until “viability,” a standard that is left to the abortionist to define, based on legislation passed in June of 2017. This means that the only thing standing in between a baby at any age and abortion is the abortionist’s judgment call.
