What does Roe's fall mean for Delaware?

“Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.” – Dobbs v. Jackson

On June 24, 2022, Dobbs v. Jackson overturned Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court case that claimed that the Constitution contained a right to abortion.

We can now argue for the legal protection of the unborn’s right to life without the barrier of Roe v. Wade.

There is an abortion clinic in every Delaware county. Abortions are also regularly performed in DE hospitals. Parental consent is not required in the state of Delaware.

Dangerous DIY chemical abortions make up the majority of abortions in Delaware. HB 320 was passed in April of 2022, allowing APRNs and physician assistants to prescribe these dangerous abortion pills. Because of the Federal relaxing of protocols, women can take these abortion pills with no medical oversight.

Late Term

In Delaware, babies can be legally aborted until “viability,” a standard that is left to the abortionist to define, based on legislation passed in June of 2017. This means that the only thing standing in between a baby at any age and abortion is the abortionist's judgment call.
