“Sand in the gears of progress.”
This is the scathing critique that a conservative Senator in his swearing-in speech said he received from a left-leaning Senator. What a way to start the Session!
But to that, we say, YES! When our state marches toward destruction, we must be the sand, and slow the progress. 🔥👏🏼
That’s why I gifted each of our allied legislators with a bottle of sand 😆 – to remind them that even though they are in the minority, it is their job to be the voice of truth and reason, and not let the wheels of progressivism roll unhindered. And when they do, we’ll be right there with them.
These are our marching orders for the 2025 legislative session, which began on January 14th and will recess on June 30th. In these first few weeks, we’ve already seen bills that directly oppose God’s design for the family, and for human flourishing.
We’ve also seen legislators advance truth with life-affirming bills, strong debate in committee hearings, and preparation and strategy for what’s coming next. They are the sand in the wheels!
And you are too – when you stay informed, share the information with others, and take action on the bills that either reject or affirm God’s design for human flourishing.
