Her ministry focuses on educating the public on religious / Christian discrimination, persecution, attacks and even anti-Christian violence in America. Michael P. Farris

Michael Farris is counselor to the CEO and president of Alliance Defending Freedom. Drawing on his experience as the former CEO, Farris provides strategic analysis and advice to ADF’s CEO on a broad range of issues, with special emphasis on parental rights and international issues.

Before joining ADF, Farris was founding president of both the Home School Legal Defense Association (1983) and Patrick Henry College (2000) and continues to serve as chairman of the board of HSLDA and chancellor emeritus of PHC.

Farris has specialized in constitutional appellate litigation. In that capacity, he has argued before the appellate courts of 13 states, eight federal circuit courts of appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court, where in 2018 he successfully argued NIFLA v. Becerra, resulting in a free speech victory for California’s pro-life pregnancy centers.

Farris has testified many times before both the House and Senate. He was an executive committee member of the Coalition for the Free Exercise of Religion that successfully lobbied Congress for the passage of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993. He also has substantial experience in international religious freedom advocacy.

Indya Rennie

Indya Rennie is the Director of Operations for Delaware Family Policy Council. Indya is passionate about motivating others to view cultural issues from a Biblical worldview. The abortion issue awakened her at an early age, and resulted in authoring her first book that creatively explains the development of a preborn baby.

Indya learned about the work of DFPC when she was thirteen, and during the following year met its founder, Nicole Theis, who introduced her to the Delaware Leadership Congress (a.k.a. Patriot Academy). In high-school, Indya interned for Life News, an agency focused on reporting news that affects the pro-life community, and also volunteered for DFPC.

In 2019, Indya used her experience competing in a national speech and debate league to deliver a speech for several college classes on the history of Planned Parenthood's founder. A student reported back that she became prolife as a result of that speech. Indya's experiences also motivated her to teach public speaking to middle and high-schoolers.

Indya is an alumni of Delaware Leadership Congress and received the Patriot Award at the National Academy. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Liberty University in Government Policy and is currently finishing her Masters' Degree in Education. During her free time, Indya unwinds by playing the piano and spending time with her family.
