This year marked DFPC’s 10th Delaware Leadership Congress (DLC), and the largest Academy yet. That’s a HUGE WIN that has taken years of perseverance.
Remember, DLC isn’t a summer camp. Our students range in age from 16-25. We’ve been intentionally training the next leaders who will take key positions in their communities, and they’re doing it!
A few of our alumni students traveled to Texas to experience the National Congress at the brand new campus for Patriot Academy. And guess what?
Delaware students rose to the top, and demonstrated a “unique fire and passion,” like 2 year DLC Alum Brody Huff.
We’re excited to see where God is placing our alumni, the community they are building, and their growing influence. We call it “taking territory.”💯
We’re preparing to welcome another 45 students for the 2025 Academy.
This is a solution that needs on-going support. If you agree, please make your tax deductible year end gift today and keep reading!
3 year DLC Alum Timothy Venable is completing his seminary degree and leading the youth ministries at his church here in Delaware with his wife, Julia. They just welcomed their first baby.
2019 DLC Alum Ruth Houser worked a bill as a DLC student to protect frozen embryos from destruction. It’s easy to imagine how much she had to research that topic in order to educate fellow DLC students. Ruth now has a Master of Arts degree in Ethics, Theology, and Culture, and her article “Creating Life in Glass: A Biblical and Ethical Examination of IVF” was just published by Evangelical Review of Theology.👏👏👏👏👏
Ruth’s work has also been noticed and shared by the nation’s leading voice on protecting children – “Them Before Us” author and 2025 Summit keynote speaker, Katy Faust.
2019 DLC Alum Jack Kidner is now a U.S. Army officer (1st Lieutenant), and is deployed as a combat engineer in Iraq.
7 year DLC Alum Andrew Erdvig – 2 year Speaker of the House, the Governor for the upcoming Academy, and newly engaged – was just awarded a full scholarship to the Liberty University School of Law.😮🙌
7 year DLC Alum and 2022 Governor Elias Coop-Gonzalez (far right in the photo), one of West Virginia’s youngest delegates, was re-elected this year by a landslide💪. He attended Family Policy Alliance’s Statesmen Academy this year to learn, alongside our team, how to advance truth in government.
There are many more stories in the making of the young adults who have come through our Academy and are being strategically placed to influence – to take territory – wherever God places them.
They need our prayers. Just as Ephesians 6 clearly states, the principalities of darkness continually work to deceive and destroy. WE👏 ARE👏 IN 👏A 👏WAR.
I think we need to keep going. If you agree, would you please make your tax deductible year end gift today? Keep watching!
