Delaware’s pro-life community showed up this week, in the DE Senate hearing for the pro-abortion Amendment on Monday.
This hearing was for SB 5, the bill to enshrine abortion as a right in the Delaware Constitution.ย
Almost every seat on the floor was filled with pro-life individuals. 31 gave public comment at the hearing; 27 of them were pro-life! ๐๐พ
The overwhelming majority of people in the room were there to defend Delaware’s preborn.

Many of the pro-life testimonies came from DFPC members. For some, it was their first time testifying.
Other DFPC members testified online, or watched through DFPC’s member legislative livestream.

In only one week, 492 individuals sent a message to their Senator opposing SB 5! The message was clear: Delaware’s pro-life community refuses to stay on the sidelines in the fight for the preborn.
We must keep the momentum going. SB 5 was released from committee and is scheduled to be heard before the entire Delaware Senate this Tuesday at 2pm.
