2025 Session In Review

At 1:14am on Tuesday, Legislative session was finally over for the year.

June 30th was a long day. But during that final day of session, our team was at the Capitol, supporting our allied legislators as they advanced truth, exposed deception, and pushed back against dangerous legislation – until the wee hours of the morning.

Overall, it was a strong session for DFPC this year – one of the strongest we’ve seen.

1. We coordinated the most and strongest expert witnesses in our history, including…

    • a detransitioner, orthopedic surgeon, and former gender clinic worker to support banning gender mutilation for children
    • an attorney to explain a bill’s religious liberty threats, and respond to the inaccuracies presented in that bill’s hearing
    • multiple physicians, in a number of disciplines, who warned about the dangers of legalizing assisted suicide

Without each witness, deception would have been the only narrative presented in each committee hearing.

2. For the first time, we were directly involved in drafting a bill and filing amendments. We worked closely with legislators to push back against the sexualization of our children and culture of death.

3. We launched our new series of legislative livestreams to allow our base to watch critical committee hearings, and hear our team’s commentary on the hearings from a biblical worldview.

This was one of the most influential years yet – and none of it would have been possible without your support.

Session is now over until January 2026. During the break, our team will prepare for next year’s Constitutional Amendments, and other bills written by allies that support biblical values.

Your gift today will allow us to bring in the witnesses needed to counteract deception in the state legislature, funnel critical resources to our allied legislators, and continue to be the voice of defense for Delaware families in the legislature.

We are blessed to live in a time and a country where we are free to flourishfree to live out God’s design for human flourishing.

Remember what Ronald Reagan said – “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.”

On behalf of the DFPC team, Happy Independence Day!
