DE Lawmakers Obsessed with Sex?

These are the bills being worked in the Delaware legislature this 2025-26 session. Do you see the common theme?

1. SB 5: Adds “reproductive freedom” as a RIGHT in the State Constitution! This means…

  • A “right” to sterilization – with no age limits!
  • Abortion at any stage, AS A RIGHT, given the highest protection in state law. (And because of a bill that passed last year, you’ll be paying for this! God help us!)
  • No regulation of the wild frontier of IVF, where millions of babies are already frozen and children are treated like commodities – property to buy and sell. Based on CDC data, an estimated 4 million babies a year are discarded through IVF.

2. HB 14, another amendment which makes privacy a Constitutional right. “Right to privacy” is a phrase so broad that it can encompass literally anything! It’s the same phraseology that was used to justify Roe v. Wade.

3. HB 119, which passed in 2025, could give children even more access to porn, beyond their phones and streaming services, by putting up potential barriers to removing pornographic books in state and school libraries. Thanks to our allies working with us, we were able to get amendments passed to offer some degree of protection. But according to the organization “Take Back the Classroom,” Delaware has 2,602 sexualized books accessible to children.

A bill preventing books from being removed from libraries because of viewpoint discrimination should be a good thing. But why did the bill sponsor propose this bill as a response to “book banners” – the term often given to parents across the country who protest explicit books in schools and libraries? 🤷🏽‍♀️How’s that for some “double speak.”

Delaware has so many problems – our public schools rank 45th in the nation, electricity bills are skyrocketing, major corporations are threatening to leave.🤨

But what do Delaware Democrats focus on? Sex.

Here’s the bill we need you to take action on right now…

4. SB 100 is YET ANOTHER AMENDMENT; it will enshrine the redefinition of marriage in the DE Constitution. SB100 creates a potential religious liberty threat that we must not ignore! This bill already passed the Senate and the House Committee. YOUR REPRESENTATIVE NEEDS TO HEAR FROM YOU ON THIS BILL TODAY.

I really need you to listen HERE to the team’s analysis of the Senate hearing on SB 100. The comments made by Senators told us what we needed know.

Give this a listen – then plan to share with your Pastor this weekend.

This is the moment that we warned about back in 2013, when Delaware officially redefined marriage to include same-sex unions. The sponsors of SB 100 are saying clearly that this Constitutional Amendment is meant to make this redefinition of marriage virtually untouchable.

It gets worse.

Constitutional Amendments require a 2/3 majority, for two consecutive sessions, to pass. It’s a high bar for a reason – changes to the Constitution should never be taken lightly.

But SB 100 protects any marriage recognized in Delaware law. This means that if a a simple majority in a single session changes Delaware law to expand the definition of marriage even further, that expansion would automatically become a Constitutional right! Just this session, this legislature proposed a bill to legalize 1st cousin marriage. This is not a distant reality!

Here’s what your pastors really need to know..

SB 100 will challenge religious liberty protections. Marriage is inherently a sacred institution. Allowing the state to not only redefine it, but enshrine it in our highest law of the land, automatically puts supporters of traditional marriage at risk of litigation for following their conscience! When a clash occurs between religious liberty and the “right to marry,” it will be up to the courts to decide which right trumps.

The state never had the right to redefine the institution that God created. And with SB 100, DE legislators can never guarantee that it won’t be redefined further in ways that will continue to harm children and destroy society.

SB 100 is being heard in the House. Your Representative must hear from you!

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. … Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 1:27, 2:24

[Jesus] answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” Matthew 19:4-6
